Thermography is a complementary examination. It does not replace mammography or other diagnostic tests, but significantly complements them.
Especially valuable in women with dense breast tissue (where mammography has limitations), in young women (< 40, before mammographic screening begins), and as monitoring between mammograms. Thermography detects vascular and inflammatory changes associated with pre-clinical processes.
Chronic inflammations appear as hyperthermic zones on the thermographic map. Arthritis, tendinitis, bursitis, vascular problems -- thermography precisely locates the area of active inflammation, guiding treatment in a targeted manner.
